J MAN STUDIOS > March 19, 2009 - This photo is of the tail lights of a new Pontiac GTO. I really liked the depth of field that was produced along the left side of the car as well as the bokeh in the background. Bumped up the levels and color saturation a bit in Aperture.

Shot hand-held with a Nikon D70 and Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 lens at f/1.8 with a shutter speed of 1/125 sec at ISO 200.
J MAN STUDIOS > March 17, 2009 - Mid-70's today, so the family and I took a nice walk together this evening. Captured this image of some red buds on a tree in the neighborhood. It's really nice to finally see some color coming back and winter giving way to spring. Added a vignette in post to create final composition.

Shot hand-held with my Nikon D70 and Nikkor 50mm lens at f/1.8 with a shutter speed of 1/3200 sec at ISO 200.
J MAN STUDIOS > March 13, 2009 - Took a stroll around MainStrausse in Covington, KY after a morning meeting. I found this cool gritty lamp on the side of Chez Nora Restraunt. I liked the textrues and overall composition of the image as well as the depth of field & sweet bokeh! Hope you enjoy it too!

Shot hand-held with my Nikon D70 and Nikkor 50mm lens at f/2.2 with a shutter speed of 1/2000 sec at ISO 200.
J MAN STUDIOS > March 9, 2009 - Things are finally starting to green up a bit around here with tempertures reaching into the 60's the past few days. I captured this image of some ivy hanging from a tree in our front yard during the late afternoon hours. I thought the scene had nice lighting and bokeh.

Shot hand-held with my Nikon D70 and Nikkor 50mm lens at f/3.5 with a shutter speed of 1/60 sec at ISO 200.
J MAN STUDIOS > January 29, 2009 - Keeping with the winter/ice theme I shot this night image of an iced up tree in our driveway while a light snow was falling. The tree was lit with the headlights of my car. Best viewed at a larger image size that allows you to see more detail.

Shot hand-held with my Nikon D300 and Nikkor 18-200mm VR lens at f/4 with a shutter speed of 1/60 sec. at ISO 200. Heavy post-processing in Aperture was used to boost levels, adjust contrast and add definition to the photo.
