J MAN STUDIOS > March 19, 2009 - This photo is of the tail lights of a new Pontiac GTO. I really liked the depth of field that was produced along the left side of the car as well as the bokeh in the background. Bumped up the levels and color saturation a bit in Aperture.

Shot hand-held with a Nikon D70 and Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 lens at f/1.8 with a shutter speed of 1/125 sec at ISO 200.
J MAN STUDIOS > March 13, 2009 - Took a stroll around MainStrausse in Covington, KY after a morning meeting. I found this cool gritty lamp on the side of Chez Nora Restraunt. I liked the textrues and overall composition of the image as well as the depth of field & sweet bokeh! Hope you enjoy it too!

Shot hand-held with my Nikon D70 and Nikkor 50mm lens at f/2.2 with a shutter speed of 1/2000 sec at ISO 200.
J MAN STUDIOS > January 26, 2009 - I had a jam packed day today and didn't get around to taking my photo until after the sun went down. I decided to see what I could do with the series of lights on columns running down our snowy driveway. If you look closely you'll see that I also captured the lights of a car driving past in the background... not planned, which makes it even cooler!

Shot on a tripod with my Nikon D300 and Nikkor 18-200mm VR lens at f/11 with a shutter speed of 4.0 secs and ISO of 1600.
J MAN STUDIOS > January 2, 2009 - My daughter Lily poses at the Cincinnati Zoo's Festival of Lights. This shot was taken hand-held using a Nikon D70 & 50mm f1.8 lens with ISO set to 1250 which added a higher level of noise to the photo. A small amout of post-processing was used to correct colors and increase detail in shadows.
